    		 The Commissioners approved Resolution 08-13 which is a Partial Fire Ban for Converse County effective May 22, 2013.

    		 The Board of Commissioners of Converse County, Wyoming will consider the abandonment and vacation of a portion of a previously unnamed County Road described in Survey 18-14. All interested parties should file written comments no later than 5:00 p.m. on the May 31, 2013 or attend the public hearing scheduled for 11:00 a.m. June 5, 2013, in the Commissioners' Chambers.

    		 The Commissioners will be holding the FY 14 Budget Work Sessions on Monday – Wednesday, June 10-12, 2013, with the exception of the Sheriff's Office and Detention Center on June 5, 2013.

    		 The new Statutory Recording, Filing and Miscellaneous Fees listing has been posted. These fees will come into effect July 1, 2013.

    Converse County has numerous boards where citizens can serve to make a difference in our County. The County has openings on these boards as terms expire. These boards include: Planning and Zoning, Airport, Hospital, Library, Natural Resource Planning, Parks & Recreation and Tourism.


    Typically board members focus on a direction the board will take that affects the future of the County, as well as a commitment to the residents to meet a variety of purposes, including recreation.
