Where can I purchase maps?
Maps are available for purchase at the Converse County Courthouse, 107 N 5th St. in Douglas. Both the Treasure's office and Assessor's office sell county maps. The parcel/ land-ownership maps are available through the Assessor's office. You can visit the Assessor's homepage by clicking here.
Are custom maps available?
Yes and no. We prepare custom maps for other county departments. We do not typically make custom maps for the public, because of time constraints. Please feel free to contact us with specific questions.
Can I purchase county produced shapefiles?
Yes there are several "levels" of date available. The Assessor's office is handling the distribution of the parcel shapefiles. Please contact them for more information by clicking here or by calling (307)358-2741. For other shapefile requests please contact us on an individual basis.
Can you email me pdf files of maps?
Absolutely! Please contact us for more information. If you would like a pdf of land-ownership/parcel maps please contact the Assessor's office at (307) 358-2741 and they will email them to you once payment is processed.
