The County Treasurer's Office issues license plates for all vehicles except those that have commercial apportioned plates, which are issued by the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Different types of vehicles require different plate types. Available plate types are:

Passenger

Truck

Commercial

Motorcycle

Trailer

Lightweight Trailer (under 1,000 pounds)

House Trailer

All Terrain Vehicles (MPV's)

Mobile Machinery

MILITARY EXEMPTIONS

The State of Wyoming offers an exemption from County Fees for Military personal who are based in Wyoming, but have a permanent residence in a different state. Please call the Treasurer's Office for more information.
