WYOMING PROPERTY TAXES

In Wyoming, the task of collecting property taxes is delegated to the County Treasurer's Office. The taxes fund our hospital and schools, our health department, hospital and airport and help build our roads.

Hopefully, the information provided here can shed some light on the process of determining how taxes are calculated and where the taxes go.

Click on the links to the right to find information about property taxation in Wyoming and Converse County.

GREENWOOD MAP SERVER

Rich Greenwood, from Teton County, has been working on a detailed map for Converse County, available to the public. Found at converse.greenwoodmap.com, this site has many functions, from looking up owners, to links to our own iTax payment site, printable features, lot numbers, and much more.

This information is for display purpose only, and anything can be checked with the Treasurer's Office or Assessor's Office to verify any information.

There is also a moble version of the map website, located at http://converse.greenwoodmap.com/mobile. This mobile link should make it easier to read on phones and/or tablets.
