RESERVED LICENSE PLATES

The applications for the low numbered plates are in! We will be contacting the winners of the lottery this week. If there were multiple persons applying for the same plate, a random winner will be picked and called. For everyone that didn't get a specific number and just wanted the next lowest plate, we will be calling with the low number you will receive!

THE CONVERSE COUNTY TREASURER'S OFFICE NOW HAS THE APPLICATIONS FOR THE NEW VETERANS PLATES.

These plates will not be issued until after January 1st, 2010. The Wyoming Department of Transportation is allowing people to fill out and send in the applications early. There are six different kinds of Veterans plates on display in the Treasurer's Office. They include:

Army
Air Force
Navy
Coast Guard
Marine Corps
Merchant Marines

A WEBSITE IS NOW AVAILABLE TO CHECK THE STATUS OF PROPERTY IN CONVERSE COUNTY

You will need either the eight digit parcel number, a name, or address. This site can be used to check if taxes are current, what the market value is, the price of the current years taxes, or a number of other items.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR GLENROCK CUSTOMERS

As vehicles are renewed to an expiration of 2010, the new plate series will be issued. If you have a reserved number (1-2500 cars/trucks, 1-1000 trailers/motorcycles, 1-700 MPV), and you want to renew in the Glenrock Office, please call the Douglas Office at 436-8650 and request that your reserved plate be taken to Glenrock.
